Lino Ristorante Italiano is an authentic Italian restaurant located on the Sheboygan River in Sheboygan’s South Pier District with seating for approximately 90 people — additional seating in the summer along the two exterior patios. Lino Autiero and Executive Italian Chef, Marco Rossi, reinvent the Italian food experience for the sophisticated pallet, as well as for casual family diners, by serving high-quality, fresh food at reasonable prices.

Lino Autiero is an industry veteran with restaurant experience expanding 35 years starting on a global cruise line at age 15. By age 32 Lino was co-owner of Fresco, a highly successful 5-star Italian restaurant in Los Angeles, California. More recently, Lino managed the 5-star Rendezvous Restaurant at the Qvisisana Luxury Grand Hotel on Capri Island, Italy where he directed his friend, Wolfgang Puck’s wedding in 2007.

Joining Lino is his long time friend, Executive Chef, Marco Rossi. Marco has opened six restaurants with Lino (since they met in the early 80s) and has 30 years experience preparing Italian cuisine. Chef Rossi has practiced his culinary skills in across the globe in Italy, London, and California just to name a few. He is also the former chef and co-owner of two Italian restaurants in Cleveland, Ohio.

Lino’s sister, Rosa, a former executive chef from Italy’s Amalfi Coast, is helping with the opening of Lino Ristorante Italiano. With inspiration from their father (a chef for an Italian cruise line) and mother (sharing generations of traditional recipes), Rosa started cooking as a young girl for their large Italian family.

The menu at Lino Ristorante Italiano is a culmination of Lino’s favorite childhood dishes from the Amalfi Coast, as well as recipes gathered during a lifetime of experience in the culinary industry. The menu includes a wonderful variety of dishes — salads, seafood, homemade pastas, veal and, of course, bread and desserts all prepared fresh daily. Local organic products are used as much as possible along with the finest imported Italian ingredients.
